I am a reader by choice and editor by consequence. As a long time reader and writer, I have a deep love for stories and the power they can have in our lives. If we are authentically curious and open, there is so much wonder to behold both right where we are and places we’ve never thought to go.

I truly think books have an amazing and sacred power to make people feel seen. They are also windows into perspectives we’ve never experienced before. Books can broaden your mind and teach empathy; they can soothe and comfort in hardship; they make us feel human. Books teach us to feel. The ability to share our stories and lives is an opportunity to connect with others, which reminds us that we are all people sharing this earth. And I think we can all use a little reminder of this sometimes.
